My wetware is open!

Hat tip to Pedro Beltrão of the Public rambling blog for alerting me to the OpenWetWare supporting a more open scientific model. According to OWW web page:

OpenWetWare is an effort to promote the sharing of information, know-how, and wisdom among researchers and groups who are working in biology & biological engineering.

After a bit more poking around I found these stats, there are currently over 5,129 pages edited on OWW by 2,793 users. That’s all it takes to convince me. I signed up and I am now a proud owner of my own lab web page on OWW. It’s still a bit rough around the edges but it’s work in progress. Oh, almost forgot, I also need to recruit a few new lab members to populate this one man lab.

As Paul Erdős might have phrased it – My wetware is open!
